Miller Shah LLP Congratulates Alec J. Berin on His Promotion to Partner

Earlier this year, Miller Shah LLP proudly welcomed Alec J. Berin as a Partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Alec has played a central role in the firm’s practice in securities litigation, ERISA matters, federal False Claims Act cases, and other areas of complex and commercial litigation. In 2024, he served as counsel at trial in a complex federal case and has recently argued before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals—demonstrating not only his litigation acumen but also his mastery of high-stakes legal issues.

Reflecting on the milestone, Alec shared:

Alec’s journey with Miller Shah began nearly a decade ago as an ILR Credit Intern and Project Analyst. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he was recognized as a Paul A. Volcker Scholar for excellence in financial regulatory law and public service. He also served as an Articles Editor for the George Washington International Law Review and interned with the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
