Alfonso Vilaboa Senior Counsel

Biography

Alfonso Vilaboa is Senior Counsel with Miller Shah LLP in its New Jersey office.

Alfonso is an international business lawyer with experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and antitrust. He has advised a wide-range of public and private companies, both in the United States and abroad. His experience includes representing retail companies in strategic sell-side mergers and acquisitions, as well as private equity funds in the acquisition of their portfolio companies, and senior and mezzanine debt transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Alfonso worked as an attorney for the Inter-American Development Bank, the largest development bank for Latin America and the Caribbean (with over 23 billion dollars in financing approvals and commitments in 2021), and Posadas, Posadas & Vecino, one of the largest law firms in Uruguay.
