Chinese Forklifts “Made in America” – A Case Study of Customs Fraud and False Origin Labeling in Import Cases
In August, a federal grand jury charged two Denver companies, Endless Sales Inc. and Octane Forklifts, Inc., and their executives (collectively, “Defendants”) for selling forklifts fraudulently labelled as American-made to the federal government and for avoiding paying applicable tariffs on the imported machinery.
