Talia Chang Project Analyst

Biography

Talia Chang is a Project Analyst at Miller Shah LLP in the Philadelphia office.

At Middlebury, Talia made the world her classroom. She studied medieval history for a term at the University of Oxford, taught literature to underserved students of color in New York City, worked as a farmhand at a rural temple in South Korea, and assisted with post-conviction/innocence litigation in New Orleans. On campus, her extracurriculars included serving on Middlebury’s Student Government Association, interning for the College’s Museum of Art, and surveilling first-year halls with an Orwellian eye as an RA. Talia’s honors thesis, “Black Masculinity Behind Bars: Prison Journalism and Self-Representation at the Louisiana State Penitentiary, 1973-1979,” earned the William B. Catton Prize for best thesis on an American subject out of her entire graduating class.

Personal Interests

Though Talia enjoys nothing more than to chat (she could probably hold a conversation with a brick wall), her favorite activities are found in outdoor solitude, including backpacking, wild camping, single-track biking, and lake-swimming.
